L'Hippocampe
Situated in the southernmost part of France at the foothills of the Pyrenees is the
Languedoc Rousillon region. Our brand new cottage style mobile home is situated on
the 4 star site L'Hippocampe (as featured in Keycamp & Haven 2005 brochures).
It is on a large, peaceful plot with some shade and is just a short walk from the
swimming pool complex.
L’Hippocampe is a family orientated site with superb facilities.
The tropical swimming pool complex has waterslides and chutes, along with shallow
areas for younger children to splash around in. The bar has a terrace on which you can sit
and enjoy a drink in the sun, whilst still keeping an eye on the children playing around the pool.
 
The site has an excellent play area for toddlers and older children, at the rear of the camp
is a sports area for football and volleyball. There are also 4 hard surface tennis courts.
The site has a well equipped Laundrette with ironing boards and irons.
Adjoining the site is the larger, sister site La Sirene that has an outstanding pool complex,
a supermarket, medical centre, cash point, newsagents, bakery, along with a restaurant/bar that
provides an extensive take-away service. La Sirene offers nightly entertainment in the form of live
music and children’s shows. Horse riding, mini golf, tennis courts and scuba diving lessons are also available.
All facilities are free of charge to guestsof L’Hippocampe.
The site is just 10 minutes from the beach and the site runs a free shuttle in peak season, alternatively
you can catch the ‘Little tourist train that runspast the site on a regular basis.’
